Using COR Advantage, teachers capture and record child development through anecdotes, photos, and videos, and then use that valuable insight to create individualized lesson plans and detailed reports on student and classroom progress. The COR Advantage software provides three hierarchical user levels to ensure confidentiality and manage the information entered.

The COR Advantage assessment tool uses six modules to observe child development and provide feedback to parents.
EVALUATION
This module allows you to enter anecdotes in each item and assign learning levels. The information provides a real-time view of the development of each student and classroom.
The assigned learning levels facilitate monitoring of each student’s development, and allow the teacher to plan activities to support specific aspects of development. Photos or videos can also be added.
MOMENTS
This module allows you to centralize observations, photos, and videos for future use.
REPORTS
Several formats are available to quickly generate reports on a student, a classroom, a center, or the entire program.
The periodic report for parents is based on their child’s profile.
STORY
A broad range of features for formatting and producing stories and newsletters that can be emailed to parents.
Photos or videos can also be added in the email.
MESSAGING
Instant access to emails sent to families of one or more students.
For example, a few clicks are all that is required to transmit the video of the day’s special activity to all of the student’s families in the group.
Parents can respond directly to the teacher’s email.
WEEKLY Planning
Linked to the different periods of the daily schedule, this module enables teachers to plan activities, list required materials, and identify targeted COR items or key developmental indicators.
Collaborative planning: created activities can be shared with other users.

COR Advantage online
As in the print version, COR Advantage digital is a birth-to-preschool child assessment tool that assists educators in supporting children at every development level. It also provides administrators with more comprehensive reporting options to guide program planning and staff development.
COR Advantage online is sold as an annual subscription, with the following pricing:
- $22.95 + tax per child for organizations with 50 or fewer children
- $19.95 + tax per child for organizations with 51 or more children
The online subscription includes:
- Introductory training, either in person or by video conference
- 3 hours for the management team
- 3 hours per group of 25 educators
- Free technical support by phone or web conference for the administrator for the duration of the subscription
- Free training documentation and online support for the duration of the subscription

Customized training
Organizations using the COR Advantage online platform have already received basic training during implementation. However, to further support your needs, additional customized training sessions (half or full days) are available.
Training costs*
- $750 + tax for 3 hours of training
- $1,500 + tax for 6 hours of training
*If the training location is more than 75 km from Montreal, travel time and expenses, as well as accommodation and meals, are extra.
